University Fountain has been dyed again

Posted On December 9, 2019

This morning students were welcomed to a cold and drizzly quadrangle by an oddly coloured fountain.

As students go round in raving hoards celebrating their graduation and letting everyone know, they sometimes may attempt a student prank.

One wonders which group of partying graduates are responsible?

This act resembles a prank that took place in 2017. The fountain had also been dyed highlighter green with soap placed in it.

Can this be considered a harmless prank? Or should students consider the fact that the fountain now has to be refilled. If the situation is anything like 2017 the fountain will remain green for a few weeks.
