Yet another student organisation recently had its AGM. Today’s focus is S-Cubed.

Below find a brief comment from the new president: Christine Scicluna!

“I am humbled to have been chosen to lead an organization so close to my heart. An organization which has prospered immensely in the last 19 years and which i hope will continue to prosper in the coming years. My vision for this year is to focus more on our environmental endeavours as well as educational prospects. Along with these I would also like to remind the student body of what S-Cubed has done throughout the past years as we approach our 20th anniversary milestone.  I would like to end by thanking everyone who has made this possible for me and for trusting me to lead S-Cubed through such a momentous year. I would also like to thank all the past executives for making this organization what it is, I hope this executive makes you all proud.”

Here is the list of all the new members and their role:

Christine Scicluna – President

Anthea Spiteri – Vice President

Giulia Montebello – Secretary General

Elisa Caruana – Financial Officer

Louisa Degabriele – PRO

Daniele Caruana -Science communication Officer

Clarissa Attard – Education Officer

Cristina Stafrace-Social Policy Officer

Giulia Tabone – Internal Officer

Julian Spiteri – Leisure Officer

Dorian Abela – International Officer

Luke Said – Environmental Officer

Hayley Camilleri – Media Officer

We thought it would be nice to also include a comment from the past president of the organisation, Julia Balzan:

“Over the past three years I have spent in S-Cubed, I’ve seen the organisation grow tremendously, and to have served as its president is an honour I will cherish throughout my life. I am truly proud of my incredibly hardworking team for the fruitful term that we had and look forward to seeing what the new board has in store for the organisation with Christine at the helm. Christine has been instrumental this past year, both in her loyalty and hard work as financial controller, and in her support and friendship. I am excited and proud to see her take on presidency and be my successor.”

Insite would like to congratulate Christine and her team, we wish all the best!
