Donate Blood at SDM’s BLOOD DRIVE

Posted On March 1, 2021

SDM are kickstarting the second semester on campus with a great charitable event – a blood drive on campus! One can come to the University of Malta Campus on the 2nd of March between 8:30 and 13:00 to contribute to such an important cause!

This event will be organised within Covid-19 regulations and SDM are encouraging anyone who is interested in donating to fill in this form to book a slot to avoid overcrowding, https://docs.google.com/…/1FiVE9C1…/edit…

A mobile Blood Donation Unit will be set up on campus near the University’s main entrance next to the security cubicle. SDM told us that this blood drive will only be set up at the University campus, but they have plans to organise another blood drive on another day at Junior College.

The event is open for everyone including all students, University staff members and non-university personnel. SDM are encoring anyone who can attend to donate as this is a perfect opportunity for everyone to come together as one community for a great cause!

We have decided to organise this event in an effort to come up with new initiatives on how we can be of help towards our society together with a number of other student organisations. We strongly encourage students and members of staff to take part in this event to come together as one community for a good cause.

Michela Pace, SDM’s Vice President

Check out SDM’s event on Facebook to check the health precautions on whether you can donate blood or not, https://www.facebook.com/events/272282567573892 and for more information about the event.

This is without a doubt a great way to start this new semester on campus where even in such unprecedented times students and staff can come together for a greater good!
