DESA elects Executive Board for 2022/2023

Following their last week’s Annual General Meeting, the Department of English Students Association (DESA) elected their new Executive Board. The board now comprises of:

  • President: Kirk Grech
  • Vice-President: Valentina Astarita
  • Public Relations Officer 1: Katya Mangion
  • Public Relations Officer 2: Miriana Bugeja
  • Newsletter Editor: Emma Cassar
  • TEXT Editor 1: Kate A’Wood Tayler
  • TEXT Editor 2: Noah Galea
  • General Secretary: Nicole Grech
  • Financial Officer: Sarah Attard
  • Events Officer: Cheyenne Spiteri
  • International Officer: Kyra Attard
  • General DESA Helper: Michela Muscat
  • 2nd Year Representative: Amy Borg
  • 3rd Year Representative: Aimee Sciberras
DESA President 2022/2023 – Kirk Grech

President-elect Kirk Grech said, “I’m looking forward to working with the team this year. I firmly believe that by working together and understanding each other we will be able to overcome anything which comes our way.”
