There are many events taking place that follow the current guidelines and are guaranteed to get you into a freaky mood.

Deep in the woods, an all-female cult is presided over by a single man in this haunting folk horror from acclaimed director, Małgorzata Szumowska. Selah, a devoted young believer on the brink of maturity, finds her faith tested when dark visions begin to reveal the fates awaiting the women as they age. Szumowska’s English-language debut is eerily beautiful and stunningly crafted, imbued with cut-throat tension.

Another Halloween film selected by Spazju Kreattiv is being screened on all Hallow’s Eve.

An atmospheric, coming-of-age love story steeped in eerie mystery; a reimagining of Sheridan La Fanu’s 19th century novella of the same name. 15-year-old Lara (Hannah Rae) lives with her father (Greg Wise) and her strict governess, Miss Fontaine (Jessica Raine), in total isolation and is struggling to find an outlet for her curiosity and burgeoning sexuality. When a carriage crash nearby brings a young girl into the family home to recuperate, Lara is enchanted by the eponymous Carmilla (Devrim Lingnau).

Hope this article has given you some fun ideas! Stay safe and enjoy Halloween!
