Get to know the team’s favourite Christmas movies

Posted On November 29, 2019

Insite Malta in collaboration with Betapsi Malta and CSA Criminology Students’ Association are organising a Christmas Movie night on the 4th December at the KSU Common Room at 19:00: https://www.facebook.com/events/1159587994251793/

We thought we’d get everyone excited by seeing what our members like to kick back and watch come Christmas time.

Our editor Emma Asciak‘s favourite Christmas movie is Elf (2003) as she used to watch it religiously when she was young. Till nowadays she still has the DVD at home. Elf is about Buddy who has lived with elves his whole life but when he discovers that he is human he goes to New York to look for his biological father.

Our KPS Carol Azzopardi and Neville Sultana our PRO’s favourite movie for the holidays is The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) as it is not the usual Christmas movie and they enjoy the creepy element of it.

All the way from America, our deputy editor Corrine Zahra still enjoys watching the fantasy movie, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (2000).

Gabriella Baldacchino from our events team enjoys watching Home Alone 1 (1990) where the main character Kevin McCallister is left accidentally home alone while his family took a trip to Paris. Gabriella mentions that this is her favourite Christmas movie because since she was little she used to watch it with her family during the holidays.

Sarah Cassar Dymond from the events team enjoys watching the adventure film The Polar Express (2004) as she had watched it many years ago; however, never gets tired of watching it during the festive season.

What do you like to watch at Christmas?

We hope to see many of you at our event next week and also on behalf of the Insite Team we wish all our readers the very best for this festive season.
